This April, Rap Life Radio, hosted by Ebro Darden and presented by Apple Music, shines a spotlight on the life and legacy of South African hip-hop icon Riky Rick. Joined by Africa Now Radio host Nandi Madida, Ebro dives into the impact of Riky’s posthumous album Boss Zonke Forever, now streaming exclusively on Apple Music.

Staying true to Riky’s mission to “do it for the culture,” the album was lovingly curated by his closest collaborators and family. The result is a heartfelt 17-track celebration of Riky’s gift for storytelling, connection, and community.

Boss Zonke Forever brings together a stellar lineup including Cassper Nyovest, Elaine, 25K, Blxckie, Focalistic, Dee Koala, Gemini Major, and Nia Pearl—each delivering verses with the same precision, heart, and artistry that defined Riky’s sound.

Among the standout tracks is “Cishe Ngaposta” featuring 25K, Focalistic, Blxckie, K.Keed, Blue Pappi, and Lowfeye—a vibrant street anthem that channels the wisdom, swagger, and unfiltered spirit Riky Rick embodied.

Last week The family of the late and beloved icon, Rikhado Makhado—affectionately known as Riky Rick or ‘Boss Zonke’—is proud to announce the release of his posthumous album, “Boss Zonke Forever”. This heartfelt project is a tribute to Riky’s lasting influence as a musician, songwriter, entrepreneur, and fashion innovator. His artistry knew no bounds, and this album reflects his diverse sound, unique vision, and unwavering passion for music.

The seventeen-track album will debut alongside the highly anticipated single, “Cishe Ngaposta“, featuring 25K, Focalistic, Blxckie, K.Keed, Blue Pappi, and Lowfeye. This energetic anthem captures the essence of Riky Rick’s confidence, ambition, and undeniable style. With all artists showcasing their achievements, the song highlights how Riky Rick tirelessly worked behind the scenes, proving that he was, indeed, a trendsetter and a force to be reckoned with.
