Arsenal and Chelsea legend William Gallas has hinted the next club Victor Osimhen could possibly join in the July 2024 transfer window.
Victor Osimhen is probably the hottest topic in the world of football today amidst speculations of a possible move away from Napoli even after signing a contract extension with the Serie A champions.
Numerous clubs in different leagues have shown interest in signing the Super Eagles of Nigeria forward but former Chelsea and Arsenal defender William Gallas seem to have an idea about where he thinks Victor Osimhen would be in the 2024/2025 club football season.
Osimhen led Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years, scoring 26 goals in 32 games. He is now one of the most sought-after players in European football.
This season, the 25-year-old football player has continued his impressive form from the previous season. So far, he has scored seven goals in 13 appearances in the Italian top flight, showcasing his exceptional talent and ability to score consistently. This impressive performance has not gone unnoticed, as some of the biggest and most successful teams in Europe are reportedly showing a keen interest in signing him.
William Gallas hinted that Victor Osimhen could probably join Chelsea as the Blues are currently favourites to sign the CAF African Player of the Year 2023.
He said, “I think Chelsea will sign Victor Osimhen in the summer. I don’t know Victor that well as a person but he’s similar to Drogba. Didier was so strong but with Osimhen, he is also very quick. I am sure he will do a lot of damage in the Premier League.”
