Arteta reveals Arsenal’s key transfer target for the first time

When asked by TNT Sports if Arsenal are in the market for a new attacker, Arteta was clear, “Yes, definitely. We’ve lost two key players—Bukayo Saka, who could be out for up to three months, which is a significant absence, and Gabby Jesus, who will be sidelined for a very long time. We are actively searching and will try to strengthen. With just 14 players available and matches every three days, we need reinforcements. Let’s see who we can bring in.”

Before facing Tottenham, Arteta had already hinted at transfer plans, telling reporters, “We know exactly who we want to sign. Our targets were identified even before Gabriel Jesus’ injury, and now with his situation, we’ll monitor how things progress.”
