Nigerian Afrobeat gem, Asake has allegedly parted ways with YBNL following multiple reports.
The recent reports fuelled Asake leaving YBNL after removing the record Label logo from his bio. He made the bold alleged take to fully start up his independent career.
Ditching YBNL makes it a tally of 5 years since signing for Olamide. According to sources, Asake decided to exit YBNL after his contract expired.
Allegedly, Olamide offered him a new contract but Asake didn’t find it appealing as he was keen on going solo.
Earlier, this rumour had accumulated social media trending space, following related news of him exiting YBNL after sampling his own record label in his music video.
In the other view, Olamide has always been clear, revealing that he will not be restraining Asake’s choice if he ever consider leaving his Record Label.
Olamide signed Asake, a few years after he had begged for a chance following the success of his friends. He was signed and without hesitation, Asake utilised his peak, unvieling a whole new sound which attained him a recongnisable fan base.
His unique niche also blended in the marketing statitics, becoming one of the fastest selling new Afrobeat wave in Nigeria, backing it up with records.
