Rapper ASAP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, has been found not guilty in a high-profile felony assault trial stemming from a 2021 incident in Hollywood.
The Grammy-nominated artist, who shares two children with billionaire singer Rihanna, faced the possibility of more than two decades behind bars if convicted.
The case revolved around allegations that Mayers fired a semi-automatic firearm at his former friend, A$AP Relli, during a dispute on November 6, 2021, resulting in an injury to Relli’s hand.
