Asisat Oshoala reportedly set to leave Barcelona after 5 years

Reports now indicate that the African Women’s player of the year 2023, Asisat Oshoala is set to depart from the Spanish side, Barcelona after five years at the club.

It is however not confirmed but reports indicate that Asisat Oshoala might be poised to join the US Women’s Soccer League for what is left of the 2023/2024 club football season. She is reportedly set to join Bay FC on a two-year deal which is open for an extension in the future on a transfer fee of 162,000 USD.

Bay FC is a new team that will be joining the US Women’s Soccer League in the 2024 season which is set to commence soon from all indications if the signing of Oshoala actualizes will have their eyes set on dominating the league in the 2024 season.

Asisat Oshoala is a prolific goalscorer and many expect that her current form will be replicated in the US Women’s League with the Olympics fast approaching enough play-time will be required for the football star to get back to better match fitness.
