Afrobeat singer, Ayra Starr has expressed her elation following the successful installation of a borehole in the Orimolade Ifako Community.

This achievement marks a significant milestone for her ongoing “E dey rush” campaign, which aims to provide clean and safe water to underserved communities.

The community, which had endured a water scarcity issue for over two decades, now has access to a sustainable water source thanks to the collaborative efforts of Ayra Starr, Hope Spring Water, and Mavin Records.

Reflecting on the initiative, on social media, X on Saturday, March 30, 2024, Ayra Starr emphasized the importance of ensuring everyone has access to good water, expressing gratitude for the partnership that made the project possible.

She wrote, “Started ‘E Dey Rush’ campaign last year to provide clean and safe water to communities. I’m so happy to see the Orimolade Ifako Community getting their borehole installation. The completion of the borehole installation not only addresses an essential need but also serves as evidence of the positive impact of collective action in improving community welfare.
