Meet AYRTON, a new voice in South African country pop, whose debut single “I Will Go Far” is a confident showing of his sound.

With a catchy hook and playful production qualities, the song is an anthem for those striving to overcome obstacles, trying to believe in their dreams. AYRTON’s heartfelt lyrics weave a personal narrative of resilience and ambition, perhaps mirroring his own feelings as he begins his fledgling career, poised to go far.

“The message behind my single is that there’s always a bright side to things,” AYRTON says. “No matter how dark things get, if you really put your mind to it, the future will bring you what you’re working toward.”

Working with renowned producer Matthew Fink, AYRTON found a collaborator who certainly brought his hopeful vision to life. His influences are similarly felt, spanning from the genre-bending approach of Post Malone to the heartfelt authenticity of Zach Bryan and the raw, emotional honesty of Noah Kahan.

The single also comes with a music video directed by Leon Barnardt, following AYRTON as he hitchhikes, leaving home in a VW bus with nothing but his guitar. It’s a powerful symbol of hope, calling to mind those archetypal images of Bob Dylan walking the streets of New York, guitar in hand and a pocket full of dreams.

As he prepares to take his career to the next level, it will be his sincere artistry and relatable lyricism that takes AYRTON the extra mile.
