Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has denied any involvement in a controversial WhatsApp group chat that recently leaked online, sparking public outrage and speculation.
The chat, made public by activist and internet personality VeryDarkMan, reportedly contained sensitive and potentially controversial conversations among several unnamed individuals. One of the names mentioned in the group, “Bella Shmurda Booking Number Pumpin”, led to widespread speculation that the Cash App crooner was directly involved.
In a move to swiftly clear the air on the WhatsApp group chat, Bella Shmurda reshared a clarification post from a social media user identified as Pumpin, who stated: “For clarity, ‘Bella Shmurda Booking Number Pumpin’ is not Bella Shmurda. Be careful who you level allegations against.”
By amplifying the message on his official platform, the singer emphasized that he has no connection to the group or the individual associated with the name mentioned in the leaked chat.
The development comes amid growing scrutiny of online conversations and the increasing trend of public figures distancing themselves from misrepresentation in the digital space.
