Bella Shmurda reveals he once stole a tricycle for money

Popular Afrobeats singer, Bella Shmurda, has candidly confessed to engaging in petty theft, including stealing a “keke” (Tricycle), in the past due to financial desperation.

This revelation came during his interview for the documentary “Tension in Ibadan” that surfaced online on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

Bella Shmurda, whose real name is Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi shared insights into the challenges he faced during his formative years in the music industry. He recounted attempting various endeavors that ultimately failed to yield positive outcomes, including signing a deal that did not work out as expected.

Reflecting on his past actions, Bella Shmurda admitted to resorting to stealing a keke as a means to acquire money. However, he expressed gratitude to God for guiding him through those difficult times and for his current position of success.

The singer’s candid confession sheds light on the hardships he endured on his journey to stardom, showcasing the resilience and determination that have propelled him to his current status in the music industry.
