Grammy Award-winning South African DJ, Black Coffee, has made a heartwarming return to social media following a tragic accident that kept him off the scene for months.

NotjustOk had previously reported that the DJ was involved in a plane crash while en route to an engagement in Mar Del Plata, Argentina.

His family had issued a statement on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, requesting privacy and prayers for his recovery. Now back on social media, the music producer shared a touching message on Instagram on Friday, February 9, 2024, detailing his journey to recovery and expressing gratitude to his fans for their support.

In the heartfelt post, Black Coffee thanked his followers for respecting his privacy during his time of recuperation, revealing that he had taken the opportunity to heal at home with his family by his side.

Expressing his appreciation for the chance to recover, Black Coffee conveyed his excitement to return to the dance floor soon, promising announcements for upcoming shows.

In a caption accompanying the post, he wrote, “Thank you for respecting my privacy during an intimate and enlightening moment in my life. I’ve taken this time to recover and take some much needed time off at home, healing with my family by my side. It’s been rejuvenating on a handful of levels, I can’t wait to be back on the dance floor with you all very, very soon. I’m thankful to the merciful God for giving me yet another chance. Announcement for the near future shows coming soon.”

He concluded his message with gratitude to a higher power for granting him another chance at life, signing off with “Big Love, Black Coffee #Godsveryown.”
