Reflecting on his upbringing, he emphasized his belief in the expansiveness of the world, which inspired him to avoid limiting himself to a single genre. This approach has allowed Black Sherif to explore various musical paths freely, resulting in a rich and diverse body of work that demonstrates his versatility. He said, “From ages 6,7, and 8 I always knew there was a bigger world out there. If I am making music I don’t box myself in. I just get into the studio and I stay true to my feelings”.

Furthermore, Black Sherif expressed his affinity for using music as a means of self-expression. He said many of his songs delve into his personal experiences and challenges. This aspect adds depth and authenticity to his music, resonating with audiences on a more intimate level.

In addition, the rapper will be taking the stage at Rolling Stone’s 2024 Future of Music festival. He will be joining a lineup that includes Teezo Touchdown, Young Miko, Flo Milli, Uncle Waffles, Peso Pluma, and others.
