Bryan Mbeumo has picked his preferred club destination ahead of the 2025/2026 football season as the June transfer window approaches.
Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo has reportedly decided to give priority to a move to Manchester United making Old Trafford his preferred destination this summer ahead of a new season.
Despite attracting interest from at least three other Premier League clubs according to reports, Mbeumo is believed to favour a switch to Old Trafford as his next career step.
The 24-year-old Cameroon international has impressed consistently since Brentford’s promotion to the Premier League, earning a reputation for his pace, versatility, and attacking contributions. With 23 goals and 8 assists in the 2024/25 campaign, Mbeumo has become a key figure in Brentford’s team, often deployed both on the wing and as a supporting striker.
Manchester United, currently undergoing a summer rebuild under the new management of Ruben Amorim, are reportedly in the market for dynamic attacking reinforcements to bolster their squad. While formal negotiations between Manchester United and Brentford are yet to begin, talks are expected to commence soon, with all parties aware of Mbeumo’s preference.
His contract with Brentford runs until 2026, meaning the Bees are in a strong negotiating position and will likely demand a substantial fee for one of their star players. If completed, this transfer would represent a significant step up for Mbeumo and could offer United additional depth and creativity in wide areas, something the club has lacked at times in recent seasons with rumors of players set to depart from the club.
