BTS has confirmed they’re officially back, with a full-group comeback set for spring 2026 featuring a brand-new album and a massive world tour. It will be the first time all seven members appear together since 2022, a moment fans around the world have been eagerly waiting for.
Broadcast live on Weverse, the group’s announcement carried even more weight as it followed the recent military discharge of the final member, SUGA, on June 21. With mandatory service now behind them, the K-pop icons are turning the page to a new chapter—together.
“We’ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year,” the group revealed during the livestream. “Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music. Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.”
This upcoming release will be BTS’s first full-group album since the anthology Proof (2022) and their first studio album since BE (2020). The members are reportedly heading to the United States this month to begin production, sparking immediate buzz across the music industry.
In what may be even bigger news for ARMYs worldwide, BTS also confirmed their first global tour since 2022. Their previous tour, Permission to Dance on Stage, drew more than 4 million fans across various cities and formats. The 2026 tour promises a grand-scale reunion with fans and a celebration of their collective return.
“We’ll be visiting fans all around the world,” BTS shared. “So we hope you’re as excited as we are.”
