The City Boy crooner initially named veteran artists such as Timaya, Wande Coal, D’Banj, 2Baba, and Larry Gaga among those he respects, sparking widespread discussion.
In a follow-up video on Thursday, May 16, 2024, Burna Boy explained that his Instagram Live ended prematurely, preventing him from delivering his full message. He clarified that the ‘OGs’ he mentioned are individuals who have had a personal impact on his life, rather than solely influencing his music career.
Burna Boy concluded by highlighting the importance of seeking information and knowledge from qualified sources, stressing that personal experiences and relationships play a crucial role in shaping one’s journey.
