Grammy-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has launched the ‘Burna Boy Football Academy’ in Lagos.
This move aims to contribute to the development of African football through a structured training program.
The academy is reported to operate three days a week, offering two-hour training sessions on each of these days.
In the video that surfaced online, young footballers are seen training on the field under the guidance of a coach.
Another video captures the players enjoying Burna Boy’s music and celebrating after a successful training session.
The academy caters to young football enthusiasts in two age groups: junior boys aged 4-15 and senior boys aged 16-21.
