CAF confirms final nominees for 2024 awards

The body governing football in Africa, CAF have released the final shortlist for its 2024 award ceremony which is less than one week.

The final shortlist from the different categories for the CAF awards was released on the official social media accounts and website on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The favourite for the Menโ€™s award, Ademola Lookman was included in the final shortlist due to his impressive performance for Atalanta and the Super Eagles while Stanley Nwabali was the major omission from the shortlist of goalkeepers.

There was another celebration for Nigeria as they were nominated for the national team of the year in both the men’s and women’s categories.

Here is the full list of the final nominees for the CAF Menโ€™s 2024 award;
