A recent update has been shared by Africa’s football governing body following the doping test conducted for the Super Eagles of Nigeria’s players Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon and William Troost-Ekong.

According to news reports, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has provided updates on the results of the doping tests conducted on Super Eagles of Nigeria players, namely Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon and William Troost-Ekong after the AFCON 2023 fixture. The tests were conducted unexpectedly and the results have been deemed shocking.

However, CAF has cleared the trio after conducting the doping tests. It was also revealed that this was not the first time Victor Osimhen had been tested, as he was previously tested after the 1-0 victory over Cote D’Ivoire in the group stages.
