Carla Franco returns with an emotionally-charged indie pop ballad titled “MY LOVE” and it’s a raw, lyrical exploration of self-worth rediscovered.
“This song is a goodbye letter wrapped in honesty,” says Franco. “It’s the moment you realise that holding on is hurting more than letting go. Writing it was painful, but singing it now feels like reclaiming myself.”
Produced by Hendrik Joerges with Chad Jevon Skippers on guitar, contributing to a powerful instrumental mid-way through the track, Franco’s subtle indie-pop textures pair elegantly with her delicate, defiant voice. Her delivery is intimate yet powerful, echoing the sincerity that has come to define her artistry.
“Being hearing-impaired has taught me to feel sound differently,” says Franco. “I listen with my heart, and I think that’s why my music speaks to the quiet truths people don’t often say out loud.”
