The Great Escape 2024 organizers have chosen Nigerian sibling duo Kingsley Okorie and Benjamin James of The Cavemen as performers for the event.
The Great Escape 2024 in Brighton, UK, has confirmed the participation of Nigerian musicians The Cavemen. The organizers have included the musical duo in the lineup of nearly 300 performers announced so far. The renowned festival starts from May 15 to 18 and has been a staple for 18 years. The festival typically showcases around 500 bands across 30 venues.
With over 450 emerging artists and promising talents across 35+ accessible venues citywide, the event prides itself on fostering “new music discovery” and providing a platform for up-and-coming acts. Via the Great Escape website, The Cavemen were described as a cult-like group who have multiplied their following with “nostalgic records and electric live performances that have carried on a reputation of their own”.
