
Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Borussia Dortmund’s 20-year-old forward Jamie Bynoe-Gittens ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano comfirmed the news of Jamie Gittens joining the Blues on his official X account on Saturday, June 28, 2025. There are reports that the winger will complete his medicals in the United States and will be unveiled as a Chelsea player to the club’s supporters.
Dortmund had initially turned down an offer worth £42m, and the two clubs were unable to agree a deal before the first window closed on 10 June before the FIFA Club World Cup.

Several news outlets confirmed that Chelsea paid €65 million for the England international right winger. He sighed a seven year deal which will keep him with the Blues until 2032.
The England U21 international contributed 12 goals and five assists in 48 games in all competitions for Dortmund last season which will be a good addition to Chelsea ahead of the 2025/26 season.
