Chris Brown to headline Afro Nation 2025 with Afrobeats biggest artists

It has been confirmed that Chris Brown will headline the Afro Nation Festival 2025 in Portugal alongside the biggest Afrobeats artists today.

Chris Brown is officially set to headline this year’s Afro Nation Festival in Portugal, joining an all-star lineup that includes Burna Boy, Davido, Tems, Mary J. Blige, Booba and many others. The highly anticipated event, known as the world’s biggest Afrobeats festival, will take place from June 26 to June 28, 2025, at Praia da Rocha, Portimão, Portugal.

The inclusion of Chris Brown in this year’s Afro Nation lineup is a major highlight, as it marks his continued appreciation for African music and culture. The Grammy-winning R&B star has previously collaborated with several Afrobeats artists, including Davido, Wizkid, and Rema, making his presence at the festival a natural fit.

Joining him on stage will be some of the biggest names in Afrobeats and R&B. Burna Boy, a global superstar and Grammy winner, is known for hits like Last Last and Ye. Davido, one of Afrobeats’ leading figures, will bring high-energy performances of chart-topping tracks like Unavailable and Fall. 

Tems, the Nigerian singer-songwriter who has taken the world by storm with her soulful voice and collaborations with stars like Drake and Future, is also set to perform. R&B legend Mary J. Blige will also grace the stage. French rap icon Booba, known for his unique blend of hip-hop and African influences, rounds out the headlining acts.

Afro Nation Portugal has become one of the most anticipated festivals of the summer, drawing thousands of music lovers from around the world. Known for its vibrant beachside setting, the festival blends Afrobeats, R&B, hip-hop, dancehall, and Amapiano, creating an unforgettable cultural experience. 

This year’s event is expected to feature high-energy performances, DJ sets, dance showcases, and a celebration of African and Black music worldwide. With Chris Brown joining an already stacked lineup, fans can expect an explosive mix of Afrobeats and R&B, with possible surprise collaborations on stage.
