Originally released in 2019 as part of his EP CKay the First, Love Nwantiti quickly gained traction. It captivated listeners with its irresistible charm. The song’s popularity surged due to TikTok. Love Nwantiti became the most commercially successful song propelled by Tiktok.

It represents a triumph for African music on the world stage. This showcases the immense talent and creativity emanating from the continent. The song peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Subsequently, it reached 2 times platinum in September 2022 and 4 times platinum in January 2023.

Love Nwantiti joins Wizkid’s Essence and Rema’s Calm Down as platinum-certified in the US.
