Rising Talented Singer, Crayon Starts A New Dawn With Twelve AM EP. This 2021, Let’s Go The Cray Way!

Crayon ‘s “Twelve AM” is a 4 track EP that features Rema, Bella Shmurda and One Acen.

Let us introduce you to Crayon, one of the newest and fresh faced recruits to the most prestigious label in Nigeria, MAVIN Records. Bursting into the scene with a carefully packaged body of work seamlessly encapsulating the vibrance of youth culture, Nigerian heritage and feel-good vibes, we are gifted a perfectly timed project to carry us into the Summer season in style, ”˜Twelve A.M` EP.

Growing up in Iba, Lagos, Crayon began making music at the tender age of 16. Picking up the pen drawing inspiration from Davido, Bryson Tiller, and Justin Bieber to name a few, the young artiste began making music to connect with others in the community, merging street experiences with his creative flair to paint a fruitful story of his upbringing and the ever-growing man Crayon is today. With co-signs from those including Bella Shmurda and producer Don Jazzy, Crayon continues on the pattern by teaming up with Rema and One Acen for his offering of the four-piece body of work.

Fusing together Afrobeats, Pop and Carribean sounds, Twelve A.M shows off Crayon`s versatility while remaining true to his roots. With additional support from fellow West African hitmakers Rema and One
Acen, Crayon warms us into the project with the smooth entry of ”˜In Sync` (prod. by London), before picking up the tempo with Rema fuelled party hit ”˜Too Correct` (prod. by Andre Vibez). We are later introduced to the anticipated Summer 2021 Afrobeat anthem ”˜Mandem` which reveals the well complimented collaboration with UK songwriter and producer, One Acen, tying the tape together nicely with percussion filled track ”˜Jackpot`.

Speaking on the production and creative direction of Twelve A.M, Crayon shares: “This project represents a new dawn for me as an artist and the journey of discovery that I have been on so far. This is for my family, and the fans that have patiently stuck with me from day one.”

Home to the likes of Korede Bello, Rema and Ayra Starr to name a few, Crayon is ready for his rise to well-deserved success and global domination with MAVIN Records. Discovered by Blowtime Ent imprint partner, Baby Fresh, and having worked with friend, music producer and collaborator, Ozedikus, who crafted Rema’s ‘Dumebi`, we expect nothing less from the multifaceted, colourful creative.

Crayon is definitely one to watch for 2021 – remember you heard it here first!
