53-year-old galala artist Daddy Showkey went on the Honest Bunch Podcast to reveal some hidden gems about his music.
He spoke about how he created the 1996 hit song Diana (or Dyna). He spoke of a woman who had fertility issues that prevented her from getting pregnant. She asked him to solicit for her to appease her husband, who was a big fan of Daddy Shpwkey.
In the hit song, Daddy Showkey, spoke of a woman much like the woman in his story. This makes the Diana (Dyna) story based on real life. Daddy Showkey is known for other hits like Somebody call my name and Fire.
