Nigerian singer and songwriter Dammy Krane has dropped his two cents on the online battle between BNXN and Davido.

Notjustok reported that BNXN had dissed Davido on social media. This stemmed from a Davido fan labeling BNXN’s newly debuted artist as a ‘mid’. The singer took to his social media platform to call out the user, stating that he had no right to speak about music since he is a fan of Davido.

Davido responded by deleting a post he made in April 2023. The now-deleted post was about a song he and BNXN had collaborated on. With the post now deleted many believe that the release of the collaboration might be on hold for now.

Buju is just the beginning ; these new cats know ‘Owe Owe One don’t have love for them , he just wan use them , collect their song & glory 🌚 No gree for David-owe https://t.co/p8bWWVKgen

Dammy Krane weighed in on the controversy. Dammy Krane had previously accused Davido of owing him for their successful collaboration on the song Pere. The songwriter appealed to the musician(Davido) to settle the debt. Now the songwriter has once again accused Davido of stealing people’s glory. He also said that Davido does not like the new generation of artists. The singer and songwriter defended Buju while criticizing Davido.

Via Social media, he said, “Buju is just the beginning; these new cats know ‘Owe Owe One don’t have love for them, he just wan use them, collect their song & glory. No gree for David-owe”.
