Nigerian hip-hop sensation Dandizzy has joined forces with Afrobeats veteran Duncan Mighty to deliver a powerful new tune, Port Harcourt Boy. Produced by the talented Freshy, the track pays homage to their hometown while seamlessly blending drill with the rich Afrobeats melodies that define Nigerian music.

Taking inspiration from Duncan Mighty’s classic Port Harcourt Son—a song that became an anthem for the city more than a decade ago—Port Harcourt Boy is a modern reinterpretation, celebrating the resilience, ambition, and unbreakable spirit of Port Harcourt’s people. The track sees Dandizzy in his element, delivering razor-sharp bars with his usual effortless flow, while Duncan Mighty laces the record with a mesmerizing hook that evokes nostalgia and pride. Their chemistry is incredible, making for a song that is energetic and deeply rooted in cultural significance.

“Port Harcourt is more than just a city—it’s a movement, a mindset,” says Dandizzy. “The song is for everyone who reps PH, who understands the grind and the greatness that comes from here. Duncan Mighty laid the foundation, and now, we’re keeping that legacy alive.”

With drill-infused production, a hard-hitting beat, and a captivating fusion of rap and melody, Port Harcourt Boy has the potential to become a street anthem, not just for the city but for fans of Nigerian music worldwide. The track is now available on all streaming platforms.
