Daniel de Boer is back with his much-awaited new release, “The Turnaround EP”. This six-song collection marks a bold step forward for de Boer, blending acoustic pop with electronic and global music influences and showcasing a remarkable lineup of international talent.

The songs on “The Turnaround EP” were mainly written and produced in Berlin, the creative home of producer Shakthi Prasad. What makes this project truly special is its worldwide reach: every track features musicians from diverse countries, including Russia, Argentina, India, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Jordan, Brazil, Palestine, and the United States. This rich cultural diversity is woven into the music, giving each song a unique flavour and energy that listeners will instantly recognise.

“The Turnaround” is best described as an acoustic pop record, but its sound is far from ordinary. Electronic elements and global music influences are present throughout, creating a fresh and exciting listening experience. The song “The Way” stands out as a perfect example of this fusion.

Indian guitarist Varun Raj, renowned for his work with bands like The Down Troddence and Floet, brings his signature style to the track. His subtle Indian-influenced accompaniment and a progressive rock-inspired solo in the middle of the song add depth and character, making “The Way” a highlight of the EP.

The final track of the EP, “Beside Me,” is accompanied by a stunning music video created by Italian filmmaker and musician Luca Bordonaro. This visual interpretation adds another layer to the song’s emotional and artistic impact, bringing de Boer’s vision to life in a new and mesmerising way.

Daniel de Boer first captured the attention of the music world with his debut album “Out of Shadows”, which won awards and was widely praised by critics and fans alike. With “The Turnaround EP”, he continues to push boundaries, collaborating with musicians from around the globe and blending genres to create something truly unique.

“The Turnaround EP” is available now on all major streaming platforms:open.spotify.com/album/6PRROQ
