Afrobeats megastar Davido has once again made headlines, this time for acquiring what’s been described as the world’s biggest diamond pendant, created in honour of his latest album, 5ive.
Since its release on April 18, 2025, 5ive has dominated music charts both in Nigeria and internationally. To mark the project’s success, Davido commissioned a custom diamond pendant shaped like the number 5 for 5ive album, designed by celebrity jeweler Benny Da Jeweler.
In a viral video posted on June 13, 2025, Benny showcased the stunning piece, revealing it was crafted without a set budget and valued at an eye-watering $750,000. The jeweler described it as a “fancy shape 1-of-1 Cuban” pendant, made exclusively for Davido’s upcoming 5ive tour.
Known for his love of luxury and statement jewelry, Davido appeared visibly thrilled as he unboxed and wore the piece in a video that quickly spread across social media. The extravagant pendant now joins the singer’s growing collection of high-end accessories, including his recently diamond-encrusted teeth.
Fans and followers have since flooded social media with reactions, praising the singer’s flamboyant lifestyle and the record-breaking custom piece.
