Afrobeats superstar Davido, born David Adeleke, and his beloved Chioma Rowland have officially tied the knot in a stunning white wedding ceremony held in Miami, USA.
The highly anticipated event took place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, marking a star-studded affair that drew global attention. The couple, who welcomed twins in October 2023 and celebrated their traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024, commemorated their union in grand style.
The lavish ceremony, with an estimated cost of $3.7 million, attracted guests from diverse backgrounds, including Nigerian business mogul Aliko Dangote, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and Grammy Award-winning gospel musician Kirk Franklin.
While some reports suggested visa issues may have affected guest attendance, the ceremony served as a beautiful and glorious peak of the couple’s journey that began during their university days at Babcock University in 2015.
Davido, visibly elated throughout the celebration, reportedly described Chioma as “my peace, my home,” emphasising the profound nature of their relationship. As a symbol of his love and commitment, the groom presented his bride with a Richard Mille watch.
The Miami ceremony represents the latest chapter in the couple’s love story, following their traditional Nigerian wedding and the arrival of their twins, solidifying their bond both personally and publicly on the international stage.
