Nigerian music sensation Davido has taken to social media to congratulate his colleagues Tems and Chris Brown on their wins at the 67th Grammy Awards.

Tems made history by winning the Best African Music Performance award for her song Love Me Jeje, beating out stiff competition from the likes of Yemi Alade, Asake, Chris Brown, and Burna Boy.

Chris Brown, who lost the Best African Music Performance award to Tems, won the Best R&B Album award for his 11:11 album.

Davido, who was nominated for three awards but failed to win, showed his sportsmanship by congratulating Tems and Chris Brown on their wins. “Congratulations to my one and only ! @chrisbrown ! And to the Queen @temsbaby we are proud of you,” he wrote on social media.

Davido’s fans had high hopes of him bagging his first Grammy award, but he lost out in the Best African Music Performance, Best Global Music Performance, and Best Global Album Performance categories.

Despite his loss, Davido took to social media to congratulate Tems and Chris Brown. This congratulatory message has earned him praise from fans and colleagues alike, who have commended him for his graciousness and sportsmanship.

Congratulations to my one and only 🐐 ! @chrisbrown ! And to the Queen @temsbaby we are proud of you! 💪🏾🌎⭐️
