Nigerian music sensation, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has sparked conversations on social media following a lighthearted yet reflective advice to his friend, Enzo, about getting a tattoo.

In a video clip that has now gone viral, Rema playfully urged Enzo to consider getting a sword tattoo on his throat. Enzo, visibly amused, jokingly declined the suggestion, saying, “Sword at my throat? That means you have a holy throat right there.” He then laughed and teased, “Mummy, please, I want to get a sword.”

Refusing to back down, Rema encouraged him, saying, “She will understand. Mummy, it is for a great cause.” Enzo, recalling his mother’s previous disapproval of his hair, revealed that she once refused to speak to him for days after he got braids on.

It was Rema’s now-famous response that sent social media into a frenzy: “Don’t worry, when we double our hustle and get more money, she will allow you. Dem no dey advise breadwinner o.”

The witty remark quickly resonated with fans online, with many sharing the clip and using the phrase in humorous, relatable contexts about financial independence, family expectations, and the realities of success. The moment has since become a trending conversation, adding yet another viral moment to Rema’s already colorful online presence.
