Diddy’s attorneys have insisted that their client, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, is the true victim, suffering from “inflammatory statements” and “outlandish conspiracy theories,” according to a new court document.

Diddy's Attorneys

In a letter filed to Judge Arun Subramanian, Diddy’s attorneys requested an order to prevent potential witnesses from making public statements. Back in September, Diddy was charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy’s attorneys argue that the accusations against him, including claims that he used baby oil laced with date rape drugs, are baseless and are affecting his ability to receive a fair trial.

The legal team stated, “Mr. Combs has been the target of an unending stream of allegations by prospective witnesses and their counsel in the press.” Diddy’s attorneys highlighted that these allegations, often repeated in the media, are aimed at damaging his reputation. They specifically pointed to reports about federal agents confiscating “1,000 bottles” of baby oil from his homes in Miami and Los Angeles, which alleged victims claim he used for criminal purposes. The attorneys further noted, “Some have even peddled outlandish conspiracy theories.”

Diddy’s attorneys also referenced an article from the Daily Beast titled, “Diddy Spiked Baby Oil With Date Rape Drug: Accuser’s Lawyer,” in which an attorney for an alleged rape victim, Ashley Parham, accused Combs of using baby oil laced with a date rape drug to assault her. Parham has sued Diddy for the alleged rape, claiming it occurred in 2018, and has also accused him of ordering the infamous murder of Tupac Shakur.

The legal team emphasized that Diddy has pleaded not guilty to the charges, which include allegations of coercing and abusing women for years, aided by his associates. The indictment also alleges that Diddy organized “Freak Offs,” described as elaborate sex performances that were recorded by Combs and often required IV fluids for recovery due to the exertion and drug use involved.

Diddy’s attorneys continue to defend their client, highlighting how the accusations, combined with Diddy’s celebrity status, have made it difficult for him to prepare for trial. Recently, they demanded that prosecutors release the identities of the alleged victims so that Diddy and his team can understand the charges better and prepare for the upcoming trial in May. Diddy’s attorneys are determined to challenge the credibility of the accusations, insisting that many of the claims made by the victims are “false to outright absurd.”
