Nigerian music mogul, Don Jazzy, has taken the social media space by storm after donating a staggering N100 million to controversial critic, Verydarkman’s Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), dedicated to renovating schools and community development.
Basically, the Mavin Records boss’s generosity has earned him the number one spot on social media, X’s trend table. Also, many Nigerians praised his philanthropic gesture.
So, Verydarkman, overwhelmed as Don Jazzy donates N100 million to his NGO, shared a video confirming the receipt of the funds and expressing his gratitude. Don Jazzy, also known as “Don Baba Jay,” described the donation as his “little way of giving back to the community”. Also, he expressed confidence that the funds would be utilized effectively.
However, the donation has also sparked mixed reactions. Some criticized Verydarkman for accepting the funds after previously blasting Don Jazzy. Despite this, the majority of Nigerians have commended Don Jazzy’s kind gesture.
Lastly, Don Jazzy’s donation shows his commitment to giving back to the community and supporting worthy causes, particularly in education.
