Fresh transfer updates have now confirmed that Eberechi Eze is open to joining another Premier League club other than Arsenal.
As the summer 2025 transfer window intensifies ahead of a new season, new reports have now indicated that Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze has caught the attention of another Premier League side, Tottenham, as opposed to a proposed move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
According to the Daily Mail UK, North London rivals Tottenham have set their eyes on signing Eze, with reports indicating that Spurs will be looking to fill the vacant spot left as a result of the injury sustained by James Maddison which is expected to keep him out of action for a better part of the 2025/2026 club football season and the departure of Son Heung-min.
Fabrizio Romano has, however, hinted that Eze is open to a move to Spurs as he is seeking to play Champions League football in a new season.
“Spurs want to add two attacking players to the squad and talks with Palace and Manchester City are ongoing,” Romano wrote on X.
How much is Eberechi Eze’s release clause?
Eberechi Eze’s contract includes a release clause worth around £68 million, though reports suggest this provision may have expired earlier in August, potentially allowing Crystal Palace to determine their own asking price.
With two years remaining on his current deal at Selhurst Park, Palace are bracing for potential bids before the transfer window shuts.
