The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has warned content creators on social media to desist from using its uniform in their skits without its authorization.
The anti-graft issued this warning in a statement released on its social media handles.
The warning comes as skitmakers have continuously been spotted donning EFCC uniforms in churning out hilarious contents.
The EFCC has frowned up this, regarding it as a mockery on the Commission and its agents.

The EFCC holds that the depiction of its agents harassing citizens is a misrepresentation, insisting that its officers conduct themselves professionally in the discharge of its duties.
“The shameful depiction of supposed EFCC operatives terrorizing ‘suspects’ is not only embarrassing but also a clear effort to tarnish the image of the Commission,” the statement read.
The anti-graft agency pointed out that, while the skitmakers may view their contents as comedy, it can undermine public trust in the agency.
