Who is E’Major?
E’MAJOR, currently residing in Minneapolis, is a Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist with extensive experience as a lead vocalist for various traveling bands, including an acapella group. He later transitioned into a contemporary gospel artist.
In 2019, he inked a deal with Motion Major Records as an Afrofusion/R&B artist. His musical style, which is heavily influenced by R&B, also incorporates elements of jazz. Notably, in one of his tracks, “Aladdin,” distinct sounds resemble American folk banjo played on a native string instrument. E’MAJOR describes himself as a music collector, having been exposed to highlife, R&B, reggae, and other genres, all of which have left an imprint on his music.
His ambition is influenced by a wide range of international musical styles and origins. He aims to reach a global audience, crafting music with international appeal that can resonate with everyone. Whether it’s the lyrics or a catchy hook, his music is designed to captivate listeners.
