The award-winning rapper has been vocal about his frustrations and took to his platforms to express discontent with Lolli Native. Emtee previously stated that Lolli Native has been befriending his enemy Zaddy Swag which could’ve led him to fire Lolli Native from his record label.

In a recent X post, Emtee made it clear he’s not interested in wasting his money on artists who aren’t bringing in revenue, pointing a direct critique at Lolli Native. “Not wasting money on artist who don’t sell,” wrote Emtee.

After leaving Emtee Records, Lolli Native expressed in his statement that he continues to hold Emtee in high regard, viewing him as a brother despite the split.

“It is with respect and gratitude that I confirm my departure from Emtee Records. Following a series of tweets shared last night (Tuesday night) by the label owner. Mthembeni Ndevu (Emtee), this decision has been reached marking the end of my journey with the label,” said Lolli Native.

Even after the Ivangeli hitmaker’s exit, Emtee took to social media to stir the pot, engaging with his fans and playfully asking them who should be shown the door next. “Good day beloved. Who should I fire next?” He wrote.
