The future of Jadon Sancho in the Premier League is one that football fans will pay attention to at the end of the 2024/25 season.
The England international could be on his way back to Manchester United after his loan deal expires at the end of this current season. Jadon Sancho has failed to show consistency in his pattern of play since the start of this year ( 2025) despite his impression start of his career at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea’s head coach, Enzo Maresca was asked about the future of Sancho at the club meaning if the Blues will sign a permanent deal or terminate the loan and pay off United.
What did Enzo Maresca say about Jadon Sancho’s future?
“I am completely focused about nine games, two months to go, I’m completely focused about that. Then what happens in summer, we’ll see. The Jadon situation doesn’t change. In terms of numbers, he could do better, no doubt. I hope, I want Jadon Sancho to shoot more. It’s an important detail for him and for us. It is not just about Jadon but we have more players in the same situation.”
The last league goal Sancho scored was in the Premier League against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane in December 2024. However, everyone will keep their fingers crossed to see what becomes of the player’s future when the season closes.
