The initial 30 man squad list submitted by Eric Chelle and announced by the NFF was trimmed down to a 23-man list in the coming days. Maduka Okoye who has been missing out on action due to an ongoing investigation in the Serie A has been dropped alongside Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa.
