The Euro 2024 is gradually coming to an end with only four teams left in the semi-final of the competition out of the 24 that started the tournament.
The first two quarter-final games were entertaining and mouth-watering, Spain beat Germany in an entertaining match as the game ended in a draw after regulation time.
Spain showed the world why they are one of the best themselves arguably the favourites to win the Euros having strolled through a tough group before scoring four goals against Georgia in their last-16 tie. They then knocked out hosts Germany in the quarters after last-gasp extra-time drama to secure a place in the Euro 2024 semi-final.
The Spaniards are also the only team in the competition to win all their games from the group stage to the quarter-finals. La Ràoja will next face France for a place in the final. The French booked their spot in the next round by beating Portugal 5-4 on penalties after the game ended goalless in regulation time.
France are yet to score a goal from open play or score a goal by themselves in this competition.
The Three Lions of England booked their spot in the final four of the competition for the second consecutive time with victory over Switzerland on penalties after the game ended 1-1 after extra time.
When will Euro 2024 semi-final fixtures be played?
The semi-final games will be played on July 10 and 11, 2024 respectively.
Wednesday, July 10, 2024: Spain vs France
Thursday, July 11, 2024: England vs Turkie/Netherlands
