Hip-hop artist Flvme has released his most vulnerable and introspective body of work yet, the BLVCK & WHiTE album. The album dropped on Monday, August 11, 2025. In a heartfelt social media post, the rapper revealed the emotional toll the project took on him, calling it a product of “a lotta crying than smiling.”
“This album is special to me because of everything I went through working on it up until now,” Flvme shared. “There was a lotta character development in this journey … but we’re here now.”The BLVCK & WHiTE album, curated by acclaimed producer and sonic architect Zoocci Coke Dope, is more than just a collection of tracks. Flvme urged fans to go beyond surface-level listening and truly immerse themselves in the story behind the music.
“I hope y’all actually take the time to understand the story and not just be lookin for a quick song to vibe to,” he wrote.
Known for his emotive delivery and genre-blending style, the Pretoria-born artist has consistently used his music as a canvas for personal expression, but BLVCK & WHiTE may be his most intimate work yet. With Zoocci Coke Dope’s name attached as curator, expectations were high for a cohesive, polished, and deeply resonant experience. Zoocci, known for crafting emotionally driven and sonically rich projects, is no stranger to pulling the best out of artists, and his collaboration with Flvme hints at a powerful synergy. The album features 21 songs, and has a runtime of 1 hour and 12 minutes. The tracklist includes collaborations with artists such as Westside Boogie, Die Mondez, 25K, Zoocci Coke Dope, Direfox, Leodaleo, Kashcpt, Young Stunna, and DaVionne. The album is a “NEW REGIME SOUND” release.
