Gianluigi Donnarumma has confirmed his potential exit from Paris Saint-Germain before the end of this 2025 summer transfer window.
Gianluigi Donnarumma was left out of the squad that will face Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup which is slated for Wednesday, August 13, 2025. According ro reports, he expressed his disbelief and displeasure about the decision to kick him out of the squad.
What did Gianluigi Donnarumma say about his future at PSG?
He said,

Unfortunately, someone has decided that I can no longer be part of the group and contribute to the team’s success. I am disappointed and disheartened. The head coach of PSG, Luis Enrique also confirmed that the decision to know to kick out Donnarumma from the squad was solely his and he takes full responsibility.
” Donnarumma is out of the squad as it’s my own decision. I am 100% responsible. I want a different kind of goalkeeper and I made this decision. Gigio is one of the best GKs in the whole world. We are shocked by PSG. There’s zero respect by the club after 4 years together. We will consider the situation also with our legal team. Gigio was even ready to reduce his salary but PSG changed the conditions again.”
What club will Donnarumma join?
Donnarumma has been linked with a move to the Premier League with Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea. However reports confirm that the Cityzens are reportedly linked for a move for the Italian.
