Nigerian gospel artist, Peterson Okopi has announced his engagement to celebrity fashion designer, Prudent Gabriel with great excitement.
On July 1, 2024, the singer famous for his hit single, Osuba shared the joyous news through several Instagram posts. The photos depicted him in front of an elegant floral arrangement with a “Will you marry me?” sign, eagerly waiting for Prudent to arrive.
While in his caption, Peterson wrote, “IN THE BEGINNING… Happy New Month, Family.” Prudent also shared her happiness on Instagram, displaying her engagement ring with a caption that read, “I Said Yes To The One That God Purposed Specially For Me. I love you so much, babe.” However, the highlight of the proposal for many is the fact that Peterson proposed with two rings.
Meanwhile, a video on Peterson’s YouTube channel captured the romantic proposal and the emotional moments that followed. Also, Peterson reflected on the day he met Prudent, saying, “When I first met Prudent, I felt an immediate connection and nicknamed her Ohi, meaning beauty. Each day with her has revealed more of life’s beauty through God. We’ve always relied on our faith in God to guide our relationship and trust Him for a beautiful future.”
Additionally, he described his fiancée’s best qualities, saying, “Prudent has a deep love for God and people, and she is very generous. I prayed for a partner who is a giver, and God blessed me with Prudent. She is an answered prayer, my friend, and everything I hoped for.”
