In his latest pre-match press conference, Pep Guardiola shared the latest update on four key players ahead of the Man City vs Chelsea fixture.
The manager of the reigning English champions, Man City, Pep Guardiola, has provided an update on the status as well as the possible availability of the club’s three recent player signings ahead of their clash with Chelsea scheduled for this weekend.
Manchester City recently confirmed the arrivals of Abdukodir Khusanov, Vitor Reis, and Omar Marmoush, all of whom have been integrated into Pep Guardiola’s squad this week.
Due to ongoing injury concerns within the team, Guardiola has confirmed that all three players will be included in the squad for tomorrow’s match against Chelsea. During his pre-match press conference, the Manchester City manager shared insights on the trio and their potential contributions to the team.
“Vitor Reis is young with a strong personality but will need time to adjust,” Guardiola stated. “Abdukodir Khusanov is already used to playing against fast, tough opponents from his experience in the French league. However, communication might be a challenge as he doesn’t speak English or French. As for Omar Marmoush, I believe he’ll adapt quickly to our style of play.”
The camp is optimistic that all three new signings will be ready to make an impact against Chelsea. They are expected to step up and contribute immediately to Guardiola’s side if needed.
This is an important fixture for Pep Guardiola’s side which could determine the club’s title defense status as the season gradually progresses.
