Popular Nigerian singer, Harrison Tare Okiri, widely known as Harrysong, has broken his silence amidst the ongoing marital issues, appealing to the public for understanding.
According to recent reports that surfaced when a Nigerian blogger leaked an alleged conversation where Harrysong supposedly urged his wife to undergo an abortion, expressing a desire for a male child.
In the leaked messages, he suggested using the N100K he gave her for his grandmother’s meal to cover the abortion expenses. Responding to accusations of infidelity from his spouse, Harrysong reportedly claimed superiority of his alleged side chicks.
Subsequently, the singer made his official Instagram account private and has now chosen to address the situation. He stated that, after careful consideration and discussions with his family, he decided to communicate with his fans and well-wishers. Taking to his Instagram story today, Thursday, January 18, 2024, Harrysong appealed to the public to respect his family’s privacy during this challenging time, acknowledging the difficulties they are facing.
In his statement, he said, “After much reflection and discussion with my family, I have decided to put out this to my fans and well wishers, that while this is undoubtedly a challenging time for my family on the stories making round on social media of the marital problems my wife and i are having, I am appealing to members of the public to respect my family’s privacy this period and also to kindly request for your outmost understanding pls..
