The highly anticipated Next Rated award at The Headies 2025 will see its winner driving away in a Bentley, thanks to a major upgrade announced by the show’s founder, Ayo Animashaun. During a recent event, Animashaun revealed that this year’s winner will receive a luxury car that is set to raise the stakes even higher for the coveted category.
Acknowledging GSE for their continuous support of the awards over the years, Animashaun explained that the decision to upgrade the car prize was born out of a desire to make a lasting impact. “The reason why we upgraded the cars to Bentley is because artists just pass the cars to their PA or manager; they don’t drive it,” he explained. “Who wouldn’t want to drive a Bentley?”
Animashaun boldly stated, “So this year, we are going to give a “Mad car” to the winner of the Next Rated category,” adding an extra layer of excitement to the award show.
The Next Rated award has long been one of the most highly anticipated categories at The Headies, and the Bentley prize will certainly raise the stakes for this year’s winner.
