Here’s how Nigerian celebrities celebrated Super Eagles win over Angola

The jubilant atmosphere has swept through Nigeria following the Super Eagles’ triumphant quarterfinal match against Angola at AFCON, bringing diverse personalities together in celebration.

Clips circulating online since after the match on Friday, February 2, 2024, depict notable figures such as billionaire senator, Ned Nwoko and his actress wife, Regina Daniels joining in the revelry. Socialite Obi Cubana, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and other members of the National Assembly were also seen partaking in the joyous victory dance.

Regina Daniels added to the celebration by planting a victory peck on her husband’s face, sharing the exuberant moment on her social media.

Businessman Tony Elumelu, former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, comedian, AY Makun, actor Charles Okocha, and comedian Real Warri Pikin, among others, expressed their elation and unwavering support for the Super Eagles.

The nation erupted in cheers as the Super Eagles secured a 1-0 victory against Angola in the AFCON quarterfinals on Friday, February 2, 2024.

The celebratory scenes, marked by prayers and expressions of gratitude, showcase the unity and fervor of Nigerians rallying behind their football heroes.
