Who was the first Nigerian to score in the Premier League?

The Premier League saw its first Nigerian player to play and score in the league through the efforts of Efangwu Goziem Ekoku, who became a part of Norwich City. Ekoku made 38 appearances for the club from 1993 to 1994, scoring a total of 18 goals for the team before he transferred to Wimbledon (now known as MK Dons) in 1994, which was also in the Premier League. He played 123 games and scored 37 goals for the team before leaving the top division in 1999.
