Fast rising singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, widely known as Ayra Starr is bubbling with anticipation as she eagerly awaits the upcoming Grammy Awards.

The Afrobeat star has been nominated for Best African Music Performance at the 2024 Grammys, with her chart-topping single Rush making waves.

In a video that surfaced on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, Ayra Starr was in an interview with Cool FM, hosted by OAP Do2dtun, when expressed her excitement for the upcoming event scheduled for Sunday, February 4, 2024. The talented singer shared that she is well-prepared for the significant occasion.

When questioned about her reaction if she clinched the award, Ayra revealed her plans to celebrate by visiting her favorite Chinese restaurant, indulging in a hearty meal, and then connecting with her mother through a video call. The artist further disclosed that she has meticulously rehearsed her walk, selected her outfit for the grand day, and even penned down her Grammy acceptance speech.

In a candid moment, Ayra conveyed her hope for winning the award while acknowledging the unpredictability of the outcome. Nevertheless, she assured that she is fully equipped with her prepared speech and a chosen outfit for next year in case victory is not in the cards this time.

The young sensation’s blend of excitement and readiness shows her anticipation and preparedness for the prestigious Grammy Awards.
